1. Company Overview

Britawash is a Melbourne-based laundry and linen service provider offering premium domestic and commercial laundry solutions. Services include general laundry, linen hire, ironing, dry cleaning, linen supply, and pickup/drop-off delivery. We also provide account-based billing for approved commercial clients.

2. Services Offered

2.1 Laundry Services

  • Services are billed by weight (price per kilogram), unless otherwise quoted.
  • A minimum weight may apply depending on service type.
  • Garments are processed using commercial-grade detergents from trusted suppliers (e.g. Peega Chemicals).
  • Britawash will take reasonable care but cannot accept liability for damage caused by:
    • • Pre-existing wear or weakness
    • • Non-washable fabrics, faulty manufacturing, or unclear labels
    • • Stains that cannot be removed with standard treatments

2.2 Linen Hire

  • Linen hire contracts are available for Airbnb hosts, hotels, clinics, and commercial clients.
  • Linen provided is hotel-quality, primarily 100% bamboo or premium Sateen cotton.
  • Standard contract terms are 12–24 months, with flexibility upon review.
  • Three sets of linen per bed/property are recommended to support rotation.

2.3 Delivery & Pickup

  • We offer scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or on-demand pickup and drop-off.
  • A flat delivery fee applies unless waived under a package agreement.
  • Same-day or express services may incur additional charges.
  • Customers must ensure linen is accessible and ready for pickup to avoid delay.

3. Pricing & Billing

3.1 Pricing

  • All prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Pricing is reviewed annually or in response to supplier, wage, or operational increases.
  • Britawash reserves the right to adjust pricing with 7 days' notice.

3.2 Payments

  • Weekly or monthly billing is available to approved commercial accounts.
  • Invoices are sent electronically and are payable within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
  • We may request card-on-file setup via QuickBooks or a secure third-party gateway.
  • Late payments may result in service suspension and/or additional fees.

4. Cancellations & Modifications

4.1 Service Changes

  • Clients may request changes to service frequency or scope with 7 days' notice.
  • Any changes affecting pricing or contract terms will require a revised agreement.

4.2 Contract Cancellations

  • Early termination may result in fees, especially where linen has not been fully depreciated.
  • A minimum notice of 30 days is required to cancel long-term agreements.
  • Any unreturned or damaged linen will be invoiced at replacement cost.

5. Loss & Liability

  • Britawash takes the utmost care with all garments and linen.
  • We are not responsible for:
    • • Items left in pockets or garment linings
    • • Colour bleeding due to manufacturer defects or improper labels
    • • Loss or damage resulting from force majeure or delivery access issues
  • For any confirmed loss or damage proven to be our fault, Britawash may offer:
    • • Credit equivalent to the depreciated value
    • • Replacement (at our discretion)

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when opening an account.
  • Ensure all pickup/delivery instructions are accessible and safe.
  • Notify us of any allergies or sensitivities to detergents or chemicals.
  • Promptly report service issues so they can be addressed effectively.

7. Privacy & Data

  • Britawash respects your privacy.
  • Personal information provided to us will be used only for service delivery and billing.
  • We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

8. Brand & Content Usage

The Britawash brand, logo, and content are trademarked and may not be used without written permission.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, clients agree to communicate concerns in writing before pursuing formal actions.
  • We aim to resolve all issues in good faith within a 14-day period.
